The Vast Universe

The vast Expansion of the space that we call the universe contains everything there is. It includes the sun, the planets, the Milky Way galaxy and all the other galaxies too. The universe is the continually growing, and each part is gradually moving further away from every other part or some are even getting closer to other parts.

We know about the universe thanks to technological advancements which made it possible by the invention of the powerful telescopes to study light, radio waves, x- rays, and other radiation that reach earth from space. Light from a star travels nearly 9.5 billion KM (6 billion miles) in a year. The distance is called a light year. The light from a distant star that you can see through a telescope may even have traveled thousands of years to reach us.

The universe contains billions of galaxies from out of the gas that was ejected by a massive explosion that happened in the universe billions of years ago. This idea is called the big bang theory. Galaxies, which contains gas, dust, and thousands of millions of stars, belong to one of three main groups- elliptical, irregular, or spiral. Most galaxies are elliptical, ranging from sphere shapes to irregular. Others, such as the Milky Way, are spirals. Most galaxies belong to a group called clusters, which often contains thousands of galaxies of all there kind.

Before ending my blog, I would just want to emphasize on the endless discoveries of space. This is because the space is like a balloon expanding and growing in many ways. Therefore I would say it would be a great achievement if we would have in depth knowledge of it.

Astronaut.

Technological advances have made man capable of doing anything beyond his wildest dreams. It had made him understand the nature in many ways. Furthermore, it gave them unlimited knowledge and understanding that there could be more secrets. Even reaching to the highest point, space, was not a problem. The voyage to space made man grow mare intelligent and has shown them that the space was wide and unlimited. Today I shall talk about men’s first steps on earth.
On 12 April 1961, the world watches in wonders as Russian Yuri Garian blasted off from earth aboard a huge rocket and entered space. He was the first cosmonaut-the Russian word for astronaut-a person trained to work in space. Eight years later Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and became the first human being to have walked onto another world away from our planet. Since then, a few hundred other astronauts, both man and women, have voyaged the space. Astronauts have jobs to do during their missions. They perform scientific experiments under the weightless conditions of space, venture from the spacecraft to repair damaged satellites, and all photograph distant planets and stars. Today astronauts are preparing for the next major landmark in space exploration: to visit other planets and solar system.

The dangers of technology towards the nature and how do we protect or improvise… ^_^

Most pollution in the world can be blamed on technology since all happened and got worst when technology came and grew. It’ is obvious that technology was the cause because; during the olden days there were no technology which means no pollution. For this blog I would write about the ways how pollution is caused and how it may be improved to my opinion.
First I would write how it’s caused. The first everyday pollution excretion is from the vehicle. Everyone uses their vehicle to move around. Since it uses gasoline the smoke containing monoxide can destroy the nature in a silent way. It can even make a hale in the ozone layer slowly. The production in factories also creates pollution and don’t dispose it properly. There are many more my examples are basics.
First to avoid the pollution of cars can be avoided and can be fixed. If people want to avoid it the only way is by using the car less or encourage car polling. It also can be fixed by using natural gas or by fixing a filter that will be installed in the exhaust pipe. Factories also can improve their system of disposing pollutants carefully to save the nature. There is also technology that saves the nature as the devices I listed.
After this I hope everyone can understand the importance of this issue. I hope people take in consideration to help save our fragile nature.

Cars

Today there are more than 500 million motor cars on the world’s roads. They come in many shapes and sizes, from small three wheeled ones to four wheeled ones. They are used to travel on rough surface. Most cars are powered by engines, which burns either petrol or fuel. They first person to build a car is Carl Benz and Henry Ford was patented for manufacturing them in great numbers.
A car has thousands of different parts. They are the tires, fuel tank, brake, engine, body and interior materials. The main part is the engine which runs the whole car and allows it to move. The engine advancement has given the car more horse power from steam engine to fuel engine. Horse power does not mean that it runes by the horse itself, but it is a term that determines the top speed and torque of the car.
The second most important thing is the body and tires because it takes up the space of the car to allow the driver and passengers to sit. The interior is also important but it is very general because different people have different taste, therefore different people have different interior designs for their car.
There are also racing cars which are types of cars that have a sleek shape to help them go faster. The formula one racing car can reach speeds up to 320 kilometers per hour. The reason why sleek shapes help cars go faster is because it cuts through air which increases air resistance. Furthermore racing cars have special engines to avoid them from blowing out their engine.
Before I finish my article, I just want to amaze people of an interesting fact. Did you know that they longest cars in the world are at the length of a swimming pool inside? For more details on racing cars I would advice viewers to watch or read top gear. For more information on cars please read car magazines that give briefs about them to learn more.

What i think about television

Technological advancement has made television a very popular item these days, since many people love to watch television programs for leisure. There are different types of programs for different people. It all depends on their age, interest, and time of pleasure. Most of the time adults watch news or documentary but children usually watch cartoons and play video games.
Since the technology is so advanced that it can take messages across as it finishes using satellite and e-mail. Therefore it is very convenient for people of the media to pass news on the television. Adults usually watch these news but seldom children listen. It’s good to listen to it since you can get updated on the global news that will be cast live every day.
Another technological advancement has helped in the usage of television, especially children. The graphic designing skill has been in great demand since children started to watch anime. These graphic designing skills have advanced in making realistic human figures in an action and make them be in 3-D effect.
Furthermore the play station has centered the attention of children and teenagers. This device is related to television use because it needs to be plugged into the television. This system is known as the bridging system whereby the device uses the television to view its content. In addition graphic designing is also needed in making the video games.
Lastly I would say that this advancement is only the beginning. No one would know what are things might come up from this field of technology. Before finishing this blog I would say that people should be more creative to help technology advance much further.

The Global positioning system!! >_<

The global positioning system (GPS) is a space based radio navigation system that provide very reliable positioning, navigation, placing and timing system ever invented_ freely available for everyone. For everyone who has this system or to me extra privilege have an ability to know directions and timing very well. This program is available to all people in all weather, day and night, and anywhere around the world.
The GPS is made up of three parts: satellites orbiting the Earth; control and monitoring stations on Earth; and the GPS receivers owned by users. GPS satellites, broadcast signals from space that are picked up and identified by GPS receivers. Each GPS receiver then provides three-dimensional location (latitude, longitude, and altitude) plus the time. (US government)
The technology advancement made it possible for everyone either young or old to be able to use this device easily purchased in any retailers. Equipped with this, users are able to go anywhere without doubts of getting lost. This device can be used in any mode of traveling such as walking, cycling, or even driving in any vehicle.
An interesting fact of the GPS is that it is used in everyday doings too; such as banking, mobile phone operations, and even the control of power grids, are coordinated by the accurate timing provided by GPS. Works are also more efficiently, safely, economically, and accurately using the free and open GPS signals.

The advantages and disadvantages of studying with a notebook.

There many reasons some schools use the notebook as part of their teaching system. Though, there are such facilities some schools does not use this system themselves. In this blog I would explain why would some schools use the laptop and some don’t. First I’ll explains, my analysis of what type of school uses this notebook system. The answer is easy; in Malaysia some private school uses this system but not the government schools around the country. Why is there difference?
First I would state the advantages of this system. The general gain is that students would be updated with the latest technological way of studying. They can be further ahead in time because they keep their pace with time. Furthermore they can be familiar in how to use their technology with understanding. In addition, they would have more program facilities. Therefore they have the advantage of getting more work done.
The disadvantage of studying with a notebook is that students tend to get distracted during study hours by chatting, Pc Games, or even online games. Trust me, I’ve had distractions before. Since it is such, a student’s needs a high will power if they do notebook system of studying. That not the only problem students tend to be very reliable to the computer and start being uncreative.
Therefore there are pro’s and con’s in everything in the world. My conclusion for this topic is indefinite because I agree with both. The conclusion I can make is depends on the students capability. Lastly I would want to say that a student should decide what’s good for them.
